Well, here we are! I'm on the flight to Lead 2016 in Las Vegas! I'm super stoked about this weekend & didn't want to leave anything up to chance by not getting my blog done in time.
As many of you might know, this was our first Jeunesse event in 2015. We couldn't have timed it better than this. The experience left an huge impression on us that we came back fired up & simply went to work, and haven't stopped since. I suspect many of you will have your own 'A-ha' moments over the course of the next few days. And for those of you who didn't make it... ask yourself Why not? And what are you going to do now to ensure you are at the next major event? One thing that's almost sure...Isolation is a killer. So , I encourage you to start to do whatever you can now so you don't miss the next big event.
Which nicely leads us into the readings for this week. Always do your best. For some, this might be easy. But for most of us, this is an acquired skill. Imagine how different your world would be if what you stopped at your best. As I reflected on this chapter, the word that kept coming to my mind was -Integrity. This seems to be a common refrain in our business. So maybe, Ruiz is really onto something! What's really cool is that these agreements fit together like a puzzle. It's easy to see these agreements as foundational building blocks of life. The lessons we learn here are definitely transformational if we put them into practice.
Reading Assignment:
Chapter 5-The Fourth Agreement- Always Do Your Best
Chapter 6-The Toltec Path to Freedom
1) Ruiz explains that all four agreements hinge on doing your best. Have you done your best daily in your Jeune see business? If not, what have been your results? If so, what have been the results?
2) Do you agreethat the four agreements are the pathway to freedom? Why?
3) How has reading this book challenged your belief system about your domestication? What if anything will you change?
Next week we'll read Chapter 7 & The Prayers.....
