Week 1 of our 90-Days of Personal Growth & Development was a WINNER!  Team members really enjoyed the assignment to read Distinctions 10, 9, & 8 from the book, "The Top 10 Distinctions Between Millionaires and the Middle Class".  (Click here and scroll down to see their comments)

As promised, YOU AND THE WAY THAT YOU THINK ARE BEING CHALLENGED!

Here's this week's assignment.   Be sure to comment below as you chart your journey by completing the assignment.

Picture
Read Distinction 7 to Distinction 5:
  • 7: Millionaire take calculated risks-Middle Class afraid to take risks
  • 6: Millionaire continually learn and grow-Middle Class think learning ended with school
  • 5: Millionaires continually work for profits- Middle Class work for wages

Consider and answer the following:
  1. How has fear prevented you from having success in your Jeunesse business? Be specific. What can you do to change?
  2. Before you started reading this book how much time did you commit to reading or listening to audio books for self development? How has this affected you personally and your Jeunesse business?
  3. Has your beliefs about money limited how much you make?

What is your biggest “ah –ha” moment of Distinction #5?

My fears have crippled my Jeunesse business, I have been finding excuse after excuse why this couldn't work, as oppose to looking for all the ways it should work. learnt from this chapter, that all risks should be calculated, always ask
1. What's the best that could happen?
2. What's the worst that could happen?
3. What's the most likely to happen
If I can live with the worst, and the most likely will lead me to my desire, then go for it.
I am a reader, I listen to motivational and inspirational daily, audiobooks are when I am on the move, however I am a page turner....
My beliefs on money has not limited my earnings it has been my understanding about money, my money management is my problem.

Thanks for your comments Jasmine. So many try to find excuses, but we already know Jeunesse is working...made $1.1billion last year. Now is the time to confront your fears and move forward!

My week #2 MIND Assignment/Review & Takeaways

Distinction #7: Millionaire take calculated risks-Middle Class afraid to take risks

* Millionaires are not afraid to take risks...they overcome fear while the middle class are trapped in the rat race because they don't take risks and succumb to fear...the only way out of the rate race is to take risks (calculated risk)

* Middle class experience fear of failure, fear of rejection and fear if loss while millionaires embrace failure, desires success more than they want acceptance and understands that loosing is a part of winning

* Middle class give up after failing while the millionaires keep going.

TAKEAWAY
1. Step out and take risk to grow my Jeunesse business...don't be afraid to hear NO.....
2. Remain proactive and stick with the daily action plan
3. Never give up....fail forward
4. Live like I'm dying.... (Biggest haha moment)
- Take more risks
- Reflect on good moments and learn from the bad
- Leave a legacy (gotta take risks)

Distinction #6: Millionaire continually learn and grow-Middle Class think learning ended with school

* Millionaires read at least 1 books per week and invest in the minds while middle class thinks learning ended with school.

* Millionaires pay for advice and learn from people who have been there and done it while middle class look for free advice

* Millionaires have a coach/mentor

* Millionaires invest in financial education because they understand that the more you invest in knowledge, the more you make while middle class stay the same place year after year because they are not willing to invest and learn to grow.

* Growth takes time - knowledge takes time. Every time you read a book, you are planting a seed.

TAKEAWAY
1. I will study financial success + personal development by reading 2 books per month (already documented in my success plan)

Distinction #5: Millionaires continually work for profits- Middle Class work for wages

* Millionaires are in sales business
* Millionaires own their own businesses while middle class have jobs
* Middle class depend on wages so their income is limited and grows gradually while millionaires earn profits which gives them unlimited income and a dramatic increase in a short period of time
* To become a millionaire, works for profits!

TAKEAWAY
1. Create multiple stream of income through earning profits

I have allotted at least 2 hours daily for personal development....reading, listening to audiobooks etc. Documented in my daily action plan and recorded in my calendar

Your detailed comments inspire me! I read a book and the author said.."Have fear & do it anyway." Nothing wrong with having the fear, but when the fear cripples your progress then therein lies the problem. You are definitely committed to your self development.

Chapter 7 Wealthy people take calculated risk, I have always taken risk never afraid to try anything new, daring and adventurous. This chapter has taught how to take my risks, I must learn to take calculated risk. The 3 questions 1. What's the best 2. What's the worst 3. What's the most likely? Moving forward I will implement.
I have all the answers, my fears of just doing is what has retarded my progress, afraid to fail, Failure and fear are now a part of my arsenal. Everytime I feel them I know I am that much closer to my goals and must use them to push forward. I have rename them my JET FUEL!!! I am creating my LEGACY

Failure is necessary to have success. What's worse than failing is not trying again. Many in this industry have failed, but true champions keep going and make it to the top.

Chapter 6 Wealthy people continually learn n grow. I am creating my library, reading has always been my greatest hobby, I read since the age of 5. What I am understanding is the application of knowledge is wisdom. I am determine to not only learn and grow but to also apply what I learn with the confidence that the people I get the information from have not only spent years learning but money as well.
Studying financial success and personal fulfillment feels good as well as having money, however having loving relationships with your family and friends is also rewarding .....I want to have it all.
Chapter 5 wealthy people work for profits, I have worked for profits for most of my working life was born an entrepreneur , tried to fit into the world of wage didn't work,.....the rest is history...I have always believed in profit sharing......
Loving this book Marsha....thanks so much
