Congrats to those of you who have stayed committed to the process and are on week 5 of the Zen Project 8 program !
Warm welcome to those of you who may be now joining the Zen experience. You will absolutely love the results you will achieve on this system !
If you are new to the Zen Project....Please visit zenproject8.com where you can find all the replays for the coaching calls with Mark McDonald and Cassiah Jay. These calls will guide you through the last few weeks prior to your start.
Also, you will want to join the Zen Project 8 and Team ELITE Zen Fitness FB groups where you will get all the guidance and motivation you need on your journey.
Be sure to download the guide for the appropriate phase of the Zen Program you will be embarking on, so you will be clear on what is require in each phase of the program. These can be found in any of the FB groups or right here on the body aspect of the site !
Here are some friendly tips for you no matter the phase you are embarking on !
For those of you who may be on the Ignite phase, but you have not quite yet reached your goal body, it is recommended to STAY on Ignite phase for the next 4 weeks instead of progressing to Thrive phase.
If you are using the Zen Shape and Zen Fit....it works best on an EMPTY stomach....so it is BEST to take it 30 mins BEFORE your meals Eg: before your mid morning and mid afternoon snack/shake.
Don’t allow yourself to get bored with the process. Keep adding new recipes and foods as well as keep diversifying your workout routine. Maybe you can take up a new sport or find some activity that involves a lot of movement, so that it will be like you are working out without even realizing it !
Remember this is a new LIFESTYLE ! so keep things fresh !
Now let’s talk about what it means to be taking on the THRIVE phase if you are starting that now.
This is going to be about how you live your life ! Health should be of major importance and needs just as much attention as the other priorities in your life. Remember live life BALANCED !
Thrive consists of 3 aspects:
1) REPROGRAM : This is where you will be expected to maintain the results of your goal body for a least TWO MONTHS upon completion of the program. Yes TWO MONTHS ! That is what is takes for stabilization. So completing the 8 weeks does not mean you can re invite bad habits again . This program teaches you how to balance everything and make healthy choices for your body !
2) DIVERSIFY : The reality is , you are either in a rhythm or you’re in a rut !
It is very easy for things to throw you into a rut if you allow it Eg:traveling, work projects, illness just to name a few. So staying focussed is super crucial !
Again ...you much focus on diversifying your food so you don’t get bored . If you find yourself eating the same thing over and over which is likely to make you bored, and if you feel bored with your workouts....that is a big RED FLAG and you’re probably in trouble ! So keep finding new workouts and new recipes so you maintain your rhythm !!
3)ENERGIZE : This is where you start to take your program beyond yourself ! What does that mean? ...Well this is where you keep yourself accountable and engaged in the lifelong process by getting your family, community etc on board ! Start walking groups where you can meet new people and engage and inspire others. People in the group can be responsible for bringing a new recipe every walking session ....so that is a super fun way to keep your food ideas rolling in !
During THRIVE, you are allowed ONE off plan meal per week. To clarify ....this means that if you plan to have an off plan dinner, you will eat ON PLAN for the whole day until dinner time where you can let loose and eat whatever your heart desires. You however get RIGHT BACK on plan immediately with the very NEXT meal.
Note ....we did not say cheat week ....or cheat day....
It is only ONE OFF PLAN MEAL ONCE weekly .
Stay plugged into our communities, and most importantly Join Cassiah and Mark every Monday at 9 pm EST for a coaching call !
Next week they will be tackling how to master your Sleep ! Yes ! Sleep or lack there of, can affect your results ! So that will be an episode not to miss !!
